Congratulations to Carlos V. on being presented with the Most Cheerful Arrowman Award at 2015’s Order of the Arrow Conclave. The weekend event offered an opportunity for Order of the Arrow members to gather, bond, and train together. Carlos attended as a member of the Waupecan Lodge and was recognized by members of all lodges within section C7 for his upbeat, positive, and cheerful attitude.  Thank you, Carlos, for representing Troop 15 so well!

Congratulations to Gabriel N. for receiving the Ad Altare Dei religious award! His hard work and dedication were recognized on April 12th as part of the mass at St. Ambrose Church of Crest Hill.
All of your fellow scouts and adult leaders at Troop 15 are proud of you.

The Scouts of Troop 15 participated in a controlled land burn on April 11th in Milton, WI.  The outing was combined with a cabin camping trip where the boys worked on rank advancement, cooked breakfast for themselves, and then moved on to the land burn.  Trained staff explained the importance of controlled land burns as part of the restoration process for native plants, and the positive environmental impact of restoring and maintaining wetlands.  The boys enjoyed the learning experience and are eager to return for a future outing.
